Lexmark’s new laser MFP device targets A4 paper-size market
Lexmark International has introduced the Lexmark X658 monochrome laser multifunction product (MFP). The new product is smaller in size, but robust in design and prints at great speed. Moreover, the compact MFP saves considerable space in the office.
This new MFP is an extended part of the Lexmark X650 Series of monochrome laser MFPs and is targeted at the high-growth A4 paper size market.
The sale of A4 MFPs is growing faster than those devices targeted at A3 tabloid-size, owing to underlying qualities like cost, space and time saving ability. In fact, use of an A4 device can help save customers up to 25 % in the total ownership costs for the machine which really depends on monthly page volume.
The X658 also occupies lesser space than a typical A3 device and its space-saving design also enables the users with time-saving finishing options and workflow solutions. Moreover, the device can give 55 prints, photoccopies or scans per minute with some models having the StapleSmart II to staple multiple sets of documents also. The MFP also features a large 80 GB hard drive capacity and input capacity for 2300 sheets.
